Flood Water Wrath and Flow Stronger – 5 Lost in Texas Disaster
Texas 6/3/2016: The wrath and flow of flood waters were stronger than a Fort Hood First Calvary Army truck which was overturned at LOW level water crossing. The truck and 12 US Army soldiers were swallowed by the Owl Creek. 5 soldiers were killed.
During Vermont’s 2011 Tropical Storm Irene, horses were used to deliver medicine to stranded citizens. The Black River at Ludlow swelled blocking and washing out roads, and turning the Village into a strong moving waterway.
